Mekong Fisheries (AAM) sets a target of 220 billion VND in revenue 2019

The General Meeting of Shareholders of Mekong Fisheries Joint Stock Company (AAM) has approved the production and business plan for 2019.
In terms of frozen goods, AAM targets to achieve 4,000 tons of output, 220 billion VND of sales, 8 billion VND of profit before tax and expected dividend payment of 6% or more in cash. Regarding commercial pangasius farming, AAM aims to reach over 3,500 tons.
The Meeting also approved the plan of issuing bonus shares to increase charter capital from the surplus capital of equity to existing shareholders. The number of additional shares expected to be issued is 2,410,710 shares, the total value of par value issued is 24,107,100,000 VND. The charter capital of AAM after the issuance is 123,464,110,000 VND.
In 2018, AAM achieved a total revenue of over VND 225 billion, profit before tax of VND 11.9 billion and profit after tax of VND 9.6 billion. Thus, with the plan set out at this meeting, the company's revenue and profit in 2019 are expected to decrease compared to the performance in 2018.
